Havana Syndrome
Made this for my friend who thinks he has Havana Syndrome. Unfortunately he became more obsessed with the idea than ever after I made it... Perhaps I should imagine it isn't real despite the things I have seen.
Lyrics
[Chorus]
Havana syndrome is real,
Real, real, real.
I feel it in my skull,
I feel it in the walls.
Havana syndrome is real,
Real, real, real.
They say it ain’t a weapon,
But the room starts to crawl.
[Verse]
Mustang screaming down the Keys,
Hundred-ten in the night.
Passport red, GPS dead,
Bank notes tucked out of sight.
Not the gun, but the ghost in the glovebox,
Not the beam, but the trail.
If the car wipes where it came from,
Somebody knows what’s real.
[Pre-Chorus]
Backpack buzz, black-market deal,
Fifteen million for the thing they won’t reveal.
No smoke, no flash, no blood on the wheel—
But Havana syndrome is real.
[Chorus]
Havana syndrome is real,
Real, real, real.
I feel it in my skull,
I feel it in the walls.
Havana syndrome is real,
Real, real, real.
They say it ain’t a weapon,
But the room starts to crawl.
